Addiction counselors are professional counselors who provide individual counseling, group counseling, and educational services to individuals and families experiencing the effects of alcohol and drug abuse addictions.

Paralegals (also known as "legal assistants") work under the supervision of an attorney and assist in the delivery of legal services. Paralegals do substantive legal work the supervising attorney would otherwise do; however, the paralegal is not an attorney. Paralegals perform such functions as: interviewing clients and witnesses; drafting legal documents; conducting legal research; and accompanying the attorney to court hearings. Paralegals must have excellent reading, writing and speaking skills, the ability to think logically, and the integrity to uphold the high ethical standards of the legal profession.

The Logistics and Supply Chain Technology Associate of Applied Science degree at Lee College is designed to prepare students for entry-level to mid-entry employment in logistics and supply chain technology career fields. Logistics and Supply Chain Management relates to the movement of supplies, material, and people from one place to another to satisfy a consumer's essential needs. All businesses rely on logistics and or supply chain professionals to preserve their inventory and keep it moving to the right destination.

AAS Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity at Lee College is the study of safety precautions used to prevent crime that involves the internet, especially unauthorized access to computer systems and data connected to the internet such as theft, disruption, misdirection, or destruction. According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, information security analyst jobs are projected to grow 31 percent by 2030 — much faster than the average for all occupations. In May 2020, the median annual wage for this position was more than $103,000.

Entry-level students and computer professionals interested in working on and with computer networks will gain employable skills while studying under the Computer and Network Maintenance Technology Program. Design, installation, repair, administration, management, and operation networks, emphasizing flexibility to adapt to network technology to the needs of any company, facility, or educational institution is the primary focus of the program. This program is designed to prepare students with the concepts and skills required for entry-level employment into computer support and maintenance careers. Completion prepares the student with CISCO routing skills.

The core completion program is designed for students who want to pursue a bachelor's degree in a wide variety of areas including the sciences, humanities, education, engineering, etc. The Core Curriculum is 42 credit hours and includes math, science, English, communications, social science, history, government, creative arts, etc. The core represents about one third of a bachelor's degree and can be transferred to any Texas public college or university as a single 42-credit block, so none of the credits get lost in the transfer process.

• The Core Curriculum can be completed online, but not all class choices are available online. For example, some lab science courses must be taken in-person, while others can be taken online.
