Movie nights, magic, legendary music and high-energy live performances are coming to Baytown as the Lee College Performing Arts Center announces its 2026–27 season, offering audiences a new lineup of entertainment without the drive into Houston.
The 18-event season features something for a wide range of interests, including a new film series, a night of magic and illusions, tribute performances celebrating some of music’s biggest names and a performance by acclaimed hip-hop group Arrested Development.
“We’re incredibly excited about this new season at the Performing Arts Center because we want our campus to be a place where the community can come together, experience great entertainment and make memories,” said Lee College President Jacob Atkin. “This season gives people even more reasons to make the PAC part of their plans for a night out, while also showcasing the incredible facility we have right here in Baytown.”
New! Movie Nights at the PAC
The season kicks off with a new film series, giving movie goers the opportunity to see beloved films on the big screen in Lee College’s state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center. The custom-built setup features a 30-foot-wide by 18-foot-tall screen, a 20,000-lumen laser projector with 4K enhancement and immersive surround sound that brings every movie to life, creating a true cinematic experience close to home.
The series opens Sept. 17 with “The Dark Knight,” followed by “Pride and Prejudice” on Sept. 24 and Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller “Psycho” on Oct. 1. The series will also feature special holiday screenings for Halloween and Christmas, bringing festive favorites and seasonal fun to the big screen. Tickets are just $5, or $2 with a Lee College or high school student ID, making the new series an affordable entertainment option for families, students and movie fans throughout the community.
A Stellar Season of Music and Entertainment
On Oct. 30, audiences can prepare to be amazed when “Larry Wilson Presents Tricks, Laughs, and Illusions” takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. The evening also offers an optional “Cocktails and Conjuring” experience for those looking to add something extra to their night.
Music takes center stage throughout the next portion of the season.
On Nov. 6, “Beginnings: A Celebration of the Music of Chicago” brings the iconic sounds of the legendary rock band to the PAC.
The season continues Feb. 6 with “The Crusaders Experience,” celebrating the music of the influential jazz-funk group, followed by a performance from Grammy Award-winning hip-hop group Arrested Development on Feb. 26.
On April 24, “The Billy Joel Experience” brings the music of one of America’s most celebrated singer-songwriters to the Performing Arts Center.
And the entertainment doesn’t stop there. With additional performances and special events still ahead, the 2026–27 season continues to deliver a diverse mix of music, movies, magic and live entertainment for audiences of all kinds.
A Cultural Destination
The Performing Arts Center is a striking, state-of-the-art facility on the Lee College campus featuring a nearly 700-seat main theater. The venue provides Lee College students with opportunities to learn and perform while also serving as a cultural and entertainment destination for residents throughout Baytown, Chambers County and the greater Houston area.
For community members, the season represents an opportunity to enjoy live entertainment and cultural experiences close to home.
“Whether you want to watch a classic movie, be amazed by a magician, hear the music of Chicago or Billy Joel, or experience a Grammy-winning hip-hop group, there is something for you at the PAC,” said Brian Waddle, chief marketing officer and executive director of Brand Engagement & Strategic Communications for Lee College. “We know people will look at this schedule and find several events they can’t wait to attend.”
