Representatives from the University of Texas, Texas A&M University and more than a dozen other 4-year institutions from around the state will be at Lee College Thursday, Feb. 5, to talk with students and their families about how best to prepare to transfer in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.
College Day 2015 will be held from 9:30 a.m.-noon at the Student Center. Presented annually by the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, the event is free and open to the public. In addition to students currently enrolled at Lee College who want to transfer to a four-year institution, all school districts in the college service area are also invited to attend.
College Day participants will be able to ask questions and receive all the information they need to better understand transfer requirements and qualifications for a wide range of Texas colleges and universities. There will also be cake served and prize drawings for students, as well as goodie bag giveaways for schools that organize a field-trip to the event.
