A montage of scenes from last year's Foundation Gala
  PDF this page

The Lee College Foundation Gala was established in 1980 and has been an exciting opportunity for community members to gather in support of the Foundation's mission. Lee College is proud to be a diverse institution with students from different backgrounds with powerful stories. These students are veterans, single parents, first-generation students, and non-traditional students. Thanks to the generous donors who attend and participate in our annual gala, we are able to help them be successful in and out of the classroom.

Join us for an evening filled with laughter, great food, music, and both silent and live auctions. All proceeds from the annual event go to support students to help them achieve success at Lee College and beyond.

"A simple thank-you is not enough for all that you do and the many lives you have changed. Generosity is a gift that keeps giving, and because you have made it possible for me, I hope to one day be in your shoes and able to help others." ~ Lee College scholarship recipient

We look forward to seeing you at the annual gala.

Letter from the Chairman of the Board

We are excited to announce that the 37th annual Lee College Foundation Gala will be held September 27, 2024, at Hyatt Regency Baytown - Houston. If you joined us last year, you know the location is gorgeous, and we had so much fun raising money together as a connected community that values post-secondary education and training. We seek event underwriters, sponsors, and donations for live and silent auction items. The Lee College Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code, which allows your donation to be tax-deductible.

For nearly 60 years, the Lee College Foundation has supported Lee College students through generous donations from individuals and corporate partners. While our students' goals are varied, the Lee College Foundation's goal is singular — to ensure financial assistance is available to qualified Lee College students who apply.

Scholarships remain a long-standing priority for the Foundation; other needs have surfaced as the College and the Foundation have grown. Many students need financial assistance beyond tuition, including funds for supplies, basic needs, and transportation, which can be significant barriers that prevent students from completing their academic goals. As a result, the Lee College Foundation Board has also recognized the importance of providing funds for these situations.

Thank you in advance for the support you or your organization can provide for the Foundation's initiatives to benefit Lee College students. Together, we disrupt the cycle of generational poverty for the families of our students and ensure that ALL students know they belong at Lee College.
