Lee Cares: Donations

Lee Cares LogoAs we face the uncertainty of the days, weeks, and months ahead, we are sure of one thing: Lee College cares. We care about each other, our loved ones, our communities, and our world. No matter our location, the Lee College family is bound by that spirit of caring, and now as a college community we have an opportunity to show it with a kind message, reassuring words, or a gift that will have an immediate impact.

A gift to the COVID-19 Lee College Student Emergency Fund will help students who face immediate financial hardships. These funds will support our most affected Rebels throughout our service area.

Through this fund, Lee College will make COVID-19 Student Emergency Microgrants available to help students who experience financial difficulty because of COVID-19 and COVID-19 response measures. Your support will help alleviate the short-term financial needs of students.

What your support for COVID-19 Microgrants will cover:

  • Technology and connectivity needs related to distance learning
  • Books and other instructional expenses
  • Tuition and instructional fees (for students with balances of $1,000 or less)
  • Housing/Rent/Utilities
  • Food/Groceries
  • Personal Automobile/Travel
  • Medical/Dental bills (cannot cover outstanding balances)
  • Childcare
  • Other Emergency or Unforeseen Circumstances

Generous donors like you will sustain the COVID-19 Lee College Student Support Fund, and the grants awarded do not need to be repaid.

Thank you for supporting Lee College students and for making sure that they have the resources they need to be safe and well. #LeeCares.
